Description:

A fine pair of French Louis XV period, carved, beechwood fauteuils stamped, “S Blanchard”, and reupholstered in document cream damask by Tassinari Chantel.

Sylvain Blanchard was born in 1725 and died in 1770. He was the son of Nicolas Blanchard and was registered as a master joiner on August 17, 1743.
