Description:

A wonderful example of a French, late 18th/early 19th century, carved, walnut, burr elm, and oak armoire from Bresse in the Bourgogne Region of France. The burr elm panels on the doors are reflective of markings used on furniture from this region. The interior is fitted with three new walnut shelves. The locks are not original.
