Description:

Exceptional quality, carved, walnut panels depicting the Greek mythological figure, Hercules, in various scenes. The panels have been incorporated into a door, which was installed with other paneling or “boisserie” at the Clemenceau home in Fountainbleu. Originally, these panels were probably from Belgium.
