Description:

Exceptional quality, carved, walnut panels depicting the Greek mythological figure, Hercules, in various scenes. The panels have been incorporated into a door, which was installed with other paneling or “boisserie” at the Clemenceau home in Fountainbleu. Originally, these panels were probably from Belgium. The actual frame of the door and hinges are available.
